Tim Flavin is the first American actor to be presented with the Laurence Olivier Award for his performance in Rodgers and Hart’s ON YOUR TOES at the Palace Theatre. Other West End credits include the role of Billy Buck Chandler in MY ONE AND ONLY at the Piccadilly Theatre for which he was again nominated for an Olivier Award for best actor in a musical. His performance prompted one critic to say, “When God created musicals, it was because he knew that Tim Flavin would come along.” (The Scotsman 26 Feb. 02) The role of Bobby Child in CRAZY FOR YOU at the Prince Edward garnered another best actor nomination. Most recently he appeared as Buddy Plummer in FOLLIES (London Palladium), Phil Davis in WHITE CHRISTMAS , and Julian Marsh in 42ND STREET.

Tim’s most recent film credits include the role Joe Bulik in the BBC2 film THE SPY FROM MOSCOW and Johnnie Ray in the BBC drama series THE LONG FIRM. Other film credits include COINS IN THE FOUNTAIN for USTV; THE LAUNCH and NEWTON’S CRADLE for Mad Dog Films. He is currently the narrator for the American series AIRLINE.
