This is just a small selection of costumes we have for Aladdin. Generally based on the Chinese version we also have a full set of Dames available for the full Twankey experience
Rodgers described this as one of his favourite musical collaborations with Hammerstein. The intertwining of two contrasting stories, two women whose lives mirror each other – prosperity for one, hard knocks for the other.
The fairground where the story opens is populated with the exotic carnival folk in their eye-popping costumes and fairgoers in their best: Julie Jordan and Carrie Pipperidge, the two female leads, start as the carefree young single women they are at the beginning of the story, in their best like all the other townsfolk come to the fairground. Around them the colourful carny folk show off in costumes that reflect the often bizarre world of the American carny tradition – Red Indians, Knife-throwers, Fortune-tellers, a balloon-seller and many more. Billy Bigelow, the carny barker who is the ‘rough’ half of the male leads, dresses the part.
The tale spans years of time, and both leading ladies have all the costume changes needed to show them going from their beginnings to – in Julie’s case – a hard working widowed mother and in Carrie’s case, a well-to-do rich man’s wife. The other characters who follow them on their life journeys have full wardrobes as well.
Along the way, the famous set-pieces of this production have allowed our costume designers to highlight the thematic elements of the musical in the characters’ dress – the New England clambake and its folksy celebration, the sea-themed colours of the ocean scenes, the ballet – “Billy Makes a Journey” – with its air of dreamlike symbolism as Billy observes his daughter from the otherworld has its parallels in the strangeness of the carny folk, and the heavenly scenes with the Starkeeper adding a note of ethereal unreality with the stark white costumes of the supernatural. All of our costumes give the cast the authentic look and flavour of the times and places the tale unfolds through.
From the scullery maid cleaning out the fire grate to the belle of the ball we have all the costumes to make any Fairy Godmother’s spells come true.. As with all the costumes this is just a small selection of what we have available as actual exact costumes would depend on size of cast

The character filled costumes bring the charm of this beautiful French village to life; Belle’s sweetness, Gaston’s arrogance, Lefou the clown, the colourful Silly Girls and bumbling Maurice who leads us to the magic of the enchanted castle.There we meet the old woman who transforms into the beautiful enchantress, the selfish Prince who is cursed and found trapped inside the magnificent Beast, Lumiere the charming candelabra (can be hired with real flame), Cogsworth the fastidious clock, Madame De La Grande Bouche the operatic wardrobe, Babette the sexy feather duster, the loveable Mrs Potts as the teapot and her son Chip the tea cup. All of these costumes brought to you by industry professionals, to create a high quality visual illusion, which is essential when producing these time-honoured roles.
Let us not forget ‘Be Our Guest’, the biggest musical number within the show as it brings the kitchen to life with an array of remarkable kitchenware.
The show is completed with ferocious wolves, sumptuous courtiers and a ballroom scene that is truly breathtaking, and guaranteed to bring a tear to your eye!
The costumes breakdown into a variety of packages to suit your hire needs, the hire does not have to be the show in its entirety. If a package does not exactly match your requirements we are happy to customise the show to your needs.
A Supervisor is provided to guide you through the fittings and technicalities of this show, a show that’s central focus is creating those classic Disney characters.

Robert Louis Stephenson’s gripping psychological drama explored the stark contrast between the genteel, refined Victorian elite and the grim, hard-scrabble working classes on whom they depended for their rarified lifestyles.
The Broadway musical based on his story brings those contrasts to stark life in glorious set-pieces – street scenes, a high-society wedding – and in the quick-change transformation of the cerebral and restrained Dr. Jekyll into the cunning brute, Mr Hyde.
Of course, the transformation between the two facets of the same man depends on the skill of the actor, but the costumes we supply give the leading man everything he needs to portray this dramatically-demanding change. Designed for quick change from High Society to the Underworld, the Jekyll/Hyde costumes are made to represent the terrifying dichotomy of the character.
The feminine interests of literature’s most famous split personality contrast both Jekyll/Hyde and the brutal gulf between the two sides of Victorian society. Lisa Carew epitomises the era’s ideal of feminine grace and elegance, culminating in her wedding scene; her costumes are everything that the ladies of that time did best in styling. Lucy Harris, the prostitute character, is dressed to show the grinding hardship of a woman playing a bad hand in the rigged game that was the society of her lifetime.
The supporting cast is also well-served on both sides of this split – newsboys, streetwalkers, costermongers, pimps and publicans and the working classes in general for the underside of Victorian life, and a general, a bishop, and elegant lords, knights and ladies for the elite. The chorus for all the big numbers of this musical will definitely be dressed for the occasion!

Welcome to Oklahoma! a beautiful set of costumes. Farmer, Cowboys and women folk alike, exude character and will fill any stage.
Cowboys with their gun holsters, chaps and cowboy hats are predominately in Browns, greys and blues. The farmers in their dungarees, neckerchiefs and work clothes are dressed in browns, greens and reds. The womenfolk’s everyday outfits befit each character and their individual styles are repeated throughout the show.
During the Dream Ballet we see a beautiful set of ballet costumes, specifically designed for ease of movement. The tri-colour theme of the ballet is dazzling, using white, black and a hint of red for sinister effect. The lightweight full circle ballet dresses are stunning and move exquisitely. The whores are equally as pleasing with their corset, frills and attitude.
The Box Social is decorated with high quality tailoring, brightly coloured hats and full circle dress, making for a fabulous dance number.
The show finishes in equal splendour with the wedding.
