David McMullan graduated from Bird College with a BA (hons) in Dance and Theatre Performance. Since then, he resided in New York pursuing further dance training at Broadway Dance Centre and other leading dance studios in Manhattan. On his return from the Big Apple, David understudied the role of Dandini in Cinderella (Worthing Pavilion) and appeared as Frank in Nickelodeon’s series Genie in the House. David soon joined the cast of Mary Poppins, making his West End debut and understudying the role of Neleus, remaining with the company till its close in January 2008. Whilst with the show, he was excited to have the opportunity to perform for Her Majesty the Queen, and the rare chance to tap on the roof of Buckingham Palace,
at the Queen’s 80th Birthday celebration on BBC1.
